Seagate to start new Windward Isle Grenada Model in October

Seagate Development Group, LLC announced it will begin construction of a new furnished model featuring its popular Grenada floor plan next month at Windward Isle, a gated enclave of 28 single-family homes being developed by Seagate just south of Orange Blossom Drive on Airport-Pulling Road in North Naples. Seagate announced earlier that a Grenada model currently under construction has sold, marking the second time a Grenada model has sold prior to completion. Created by Weber Design Group, the 4,276 square feet under air Grenada open-concept floor plan includes a spacious great room, dining area, and kitchen, as well as a study with a walk-in closet, the master suite, and a guest suite on the first floor. Two upstairs bedrooms and a game room offer an area for studying, entertaining, and watching television. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a covered outdoor balcony.  The plan features four full baths and one half-bath, a three-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a covered lanai and pool.

Windward Isle is located minutes from the area’s schools, shopping, and beach activities. The community is less than a mile from the Ritz Carlton Tiburon Golf Resort; less than three miles from Mercato; and less than four miles from Waterside Shops and the Ritz Carlton Beach Resort. Artis-Naples, NCH North Naples Hospital, the Community School, Pelican Marsh Elementary School, and Barron Collier High School are also just minutes away, as are the shops and eateries at the Shops at Vanderbilt.

Seagate’s Windward Isle offering includes eight one and two-story open-concept designs by Weber Design Group and RG Designs that showcase the community’s coastal West Indies architectural style. Seagate will also build custom residences designed for construction on Windward Isle’s home sites. Six end-user residences have been completed and six are currently under construction. In addition to the new Grenada model, two completed furnished model homes, a model currently under construction, and 11 buildable home sites are available for purchase.

Now under construction, Seagate’s Cayman II model designed by Weber Design Group offers 4,102 square feet, including 2,685 square feet of air-conditioned living space, a covered lanai measuring 582 square feet, a 207 square foot covered entry, and a 628 square foot two-car garage. Standard features at Windward Isle include a 400-square foot swimming pool with a brick paver deck and tropical landscaping. The single-story Cayman II features a great room, dining area, and island kitchen, three bedrooms, three full baths, and a study. The covered lanai will offer a comfortable outdoor gathering space complete with a fireplace and an outdoor kitchen. The interior for the new model is being designed by Theory Design.  Pricing will be announced as construction progresses.  Completion is anticipated late next spring.

 The completed models at Windward Isle showcase Seagate’s Sea Breeze I and Abacos floor plans. The 3,074 square feet under air Sea Breeze I model designed by RG Designs was named recipient of the 2018 Parade of Homes Overall Excellence in Construction and Design award in the $1,500,001 – $2,000,000 category. The floor plan includes a gallery hallway leading from the foyer to a great room, dining area, and kitchen with a vaulted painted tongue-in-groove ceiling that will soar to 18-feet at its peak. A single ceiling beam detail that carries through the living space to the outdoor living area and windows located at the top of the walls provides additional architectural interest. Pocketing sliders open the interior to a covered lanai, a pool, and a pavered pool deck. An optional summer kitchen and optional fireplace are included in the model’s outdoor living area. The plan features a study, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths plus an optional pool bath, and a three-car garage. The master suite includes two large walk-in closets and separate water closets. The Sea Breeze I model is currently priced at $1,695,000 fully furnished. The Sea Breeze I floor plan is base-priced at $1,295,000.

Jinx McDonald Interior Designs’ Minka McDonald, ASID & LEED, AP and Design Associate Janine Blume have created the interior for the Sea Breeze I model.  A color scheme featuring neutral grey backgrounds with cool blues, bright and soft greens, and turquoise accents sets the tone for their sophisticated yet comfortable coastal design style. Flooring throughout the living areas is wide plank hardwood in a taupe tone. The interior presents a sophisticated, clean-lined Hampton’s style with universal appeal. The clean, coastal look presents an elegant yet casual ambiance with a bit of a West Indies influence. Neutral light linen background tones are accented with pops of color to compliment the home’s white oak wood flooring. The use of bead-board details contributes to the comfortable coastal setting. The light-toned kitchen cabinetry is presented in a variation of white or grey and provides a background for granite countertops.

Designed by Weber Design Group and base-priced at $1,275,000, the 3,065 square feet single-story Abacos plan offers a combination of elegance and livability. The open concept great room plan includes a wet bar, island kitchen, dining area, study, three bedrooms, three full baths and one half-bath, an outdoor living area, and a three-car garage.  The furnished Abacos model currently open for viewing and purchase is priced at $1,745,000 with furnishings. The model features an interior by Jinx McDonald Interior Designs’ Minka McDonald, ASID, LEED AP. The Abacos model was named recipient of the Collier Building Industry Association’s 2016 Sand Dollar Awards for Product Design of the Year – Single Family Homes $1,500,001 – $1,750,000.  In addition to the model, a new end-user home featuring the Abacos plan has started.

McDonald’s vision for the Abacos juxtaposes current contemporary styling with inviting family comfort. The color palette incorporates ivories, silver, light driftwood grays, and rich charcoal gray tones.  The flooring is porcelain tile with subtle gray striations.  The wet bar showcases charcoal cabinetry topped with white Sile stone. The great room features a ceiling treatment of interlocking drywall rectangles painted light gray.  For the feature wall, McDonald has envisioned a wide custom entertainment console displaying striations of silver and charcoal gray with mullioned mirror-fronted doors. Wide pocketing sliders open the great room to a covered lanai and pool.  The kitchen features island and perimeter cabinetry in pale gray.  The counter surfaces and backsplash are rich Cambria quartz featuring swirls of caramel and vanilla interspersed with shiny dark gray speckles.  In the outdoor living area, a conversation area features a sofa, two chairs, a cocktail table, and two side tables.  A 48-inch circular dining table with four chairs is located near the outdoor kitchen where cabinetry is presented in a light gray with creamy granite counters.  A beautiful pool and spa encourage fun and relaxation.

Headquartered in Fort Myers, Seagate is a Preferred Builder in Quail West and at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club.  Seagate is in the final design and development stage prior to starting construction of two new grand estate models at Quail West. Its furnished Sabbia model in Miromar Lakes’ Sardinia neighborhood is on schedule for completion early in 2019.  Seagate is also developing Hill Tide Estates, a 9.98-acre gated enclave on the southern tip of Boca Grande.  Two models are under construction at Hill Tide Estates, including BCB Homes’ 4,555 square foot unfurnished Silver King residence and Seagate’s 4,865 square feet under air furnished Captiva model scheduled for completion this fall.
