01 Apr Seagate starts Cayman II residence at Windward Isle
Seagate Development Group LLC announced it has started construction of a Cayman II end-user residence at Windward Isle, a gated enclave of 28 single-family luxury homes being developed by Seagate south of Orange Blossom Drive on Airport-Pulling Road in North Naples.
Created by Weber Design Group, the 2,685-square-foot under air single-story Cayman II floor plan features three bedrooms plus a study, three baths, a great room, dining area, and island kitchen, a lanai with a fireplace, outdoor kitchen, a pool with a sun shelf and spa, and a two-car garage. The home’s side entry garage and bold loggia-style entrance set a dramatic tone. The great room, kitchen, and dining area command the heart of the open-concept floor plan. The Cayman II is one of eight, one- and two-story open concept Windward Isle designs that showcase a coastal West Indies architectural style. Seagate will also build fully customized residences designed for construction on Windward Isle’s home sites.
The Cayman II start continues a surge in construction activity at Windward Isle. After completing the sale of its furnished Grenada model in February, Seagate started construction of a new Grenada model. The sold Grenada model features an interior by Jinx McDonald, owner of Jinx McDonald Interior Designs. McDonald will also create the interior for the new Grenada residence.
The 4,079-square-foot, two-story Grenada floor plan is base priced at $1.475 million. Designed by Weber Design Group, the open concept plan includes a great room, dining area, kitchen, study with walk-in closet, master suite and a guest suite on the first floor. Two upstairs bedrooms and a game room offer an area for studying, entertaining, and watching television. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a covered outdoor balcony. The plan features four full baths and one half-bath, a three-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a covered lanai and pool. Pricing for the new furnished Grenada model will be announced as construction progresses.
Seagate’s furnished Sea Breeze I model is also under construction. The 3,074-square-foot under air Sea Breeze I plan by Rich Guzman at RG Designs reflects Seagate’s commitment to building luxury residences with an exceptional level of livability. The plan includes an elegant gallery hallway leading from the foyer to a great room, dining area and gourmet kitchen with a vaulted painted tongue-in-groove ceiling that will soar to 18 feet at its peak. A single ceiling beam detail, that will carry through the living space to the outdoor living area and windows located at the top of the walls, will provide additional architectural interest. Pocketing sliders will fully open the interior space to a covered lanai, a pool, and a pavered pool deck. An optional summer kitchen and optional fireplace will be included in the model’s outdoor living area. The plan features a study, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths plus an optional pool bath, and a three-car garage. The master suite includes two large walk-in closets and separate water closets. The Sea Breeze model is expected to be completed by fall. The model is priced at $1.649 million fully furnished and will feature an interior by Jinx McDonald Interior Designs.
The construction activity at Windward Isle reflects the appeal of its location, floor plan choices, and the availability of fully customized residences designed for construction on Windward Isle’s home sites. The community’s prized location is close to the area’s best schools, shopping and beach activities. Equally important to homebuyers, Windward Isle offers a low density of luxury custom homes with low homeowner’s association fees. In addition to the sale of the Grenada model, two end-user residences have been completed, and two reservations have been processed.
Weber Design Group also created Windward Isle’s Abacos, Grenada II and Cayman floor plans. Base priced at $1.275 million, the 3,065-square-foot single-story Abacos plan offers elegance and livability. The open concept great room plan includes a wet bar, island kitchen, dining area, study, three bedrooms, three full baths and one half-bath, an outdoor living area, and a three-car garage. A furnished Abacos model is open for viewing priced at $1.695 million. The model features an interior by Jinx McDonald Interior Designs’ Minka McDonald, ASID, LEED AP. McDonald’s color palette incorporates warm ivories, silver, light driftwood grays, and rich charcoal gray tones. Additional accent layers of green-blue add a soupçon of color. The flooring throughout the living areas is white porcelain tile with subtle gray striations.
Base priced at $1.375 million, the two-story, 3,679-square-foot Grenada II includes a great room, dining area, and kitchen, study with walk-in closet, master suite and a guest suite on the first floor. Two bedrooms are upstairs. The plan also offers four full baths and one half-bath, a three-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a covered lanai and pool.
Weber’s 2,583-square-foot Cayman floor plan features a great room, island kitchen and dining area. An optional wet bar is available in the great room. The great room’s pocketing sliders open to an outdoor living space offering an optional fireplace and summer kitchen, as well as the pool and spa that are standard in all Windward Isle residences. Base priced at $1.15 million, the Cayman plan includes a study, three bedrooms, three baths, and a two-car garage.
Windward Isle’s floor plan choices also includes RG Designs’ 4,015-square-foot, two-story Sea Breeze II floor plan. The plan showcases a foyer and entry hallway leading to a great room, island kitchen and dining area. Pocketing sliders open the living area to a lanai with an optional outdoor kitchen and fireplace, a pool and spa, and a pool bath. The master suite, two guest suites, a study, and a powder bath are also on the first floor. The upstairs includes two guest suites and a loft overlooking the downstairs. A three-car garage is included. Base pricing for the Sea Breeze II floor plan will be announced soon.
