30 Sep Seagate reports strong sales at Windward Isle
Seagate Development Group LLC reported that 10 sales contracts, including a recent contract on the Abacos furnished model, have now been processed at Windward Isle, a gated enclave of 28 single-family luxury homes being developed by Seagate south of Orange Blossom Drive on Airport-Pulling Road in North Naples.
A completed furnished model is open for viewing and purchase and a second model is expected to be completed this fall. Sixteen home sites remain available. The community is close to the area’s best schools, shopping and beach activities. Windward Isle offers a low density of luxury homes with a low homeowner’s association fees.
Seagate’s completed 3,074-square-foot under air Sea Breeze I furnished model is one of eight one- and two-story open-concept designs by RG Designs and Weber Design Group that showcase Windward Isle’s coastal West Indies architectural style. Seagate will also build fully customized residences designed for construction on Windward Isle’s home sites.
Designed by RG Designs, the Sea Breeze I plan includes a gallery hallway leading from the foyer to a great room, dining area and gourmet kitchen with a vaulted ceiling, beamed ceiling details, and windows at the top of the walls. Pocketing sliders open to a covered lanai, a pool, and a pavered pool deck. An optional summer kitchen is available in the outdoor living area.
The plan features a study, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths plus an optional pool bath, and a three-car garage. The master suite includes two walk-in closets and separate water closets. The Sea Breeze I model is priced at $1.695 million, fully furnished.
Jinx McDonald Interior Designs’ Minka McDonald, ASID, LEED, AP and Design Associate Janine Blume have created the interior for the Sea Breeze I. A color scheme featuring neutral grey backgrounds with blues, greens and turquoise accents sets the tone for their coastal design style. Flooring throughout the living areas is wide plank hardwood in a taupe tone.
Guests are greeted in a foyer and gallery hallway with white tongue-and-groove ceiling details and three glass lanterns with chrome accents. The study includes wall treatments featuring a white chair rail with green and taupe grasscloth below and a Sherwood Green painted surface above. The great room presents a slider that opens to the outdoor living area. An entertainment console finished with a dark stained frame and white doors is set on the feature wall and includes a cluster of sculptural glass pieces. The dining area’s trestle-style dining table features a zinc metal top and is surrounded by host and hostess chairs with a sweeping side arm and four side chairs.
In the kitchen, the cabinetry is white and plays against quartz counter surfaces with a marble look. A subway tile backsplash features a gray crackle finish. The color scheme in the master bedroom is soft and tranquil misty gray and blue/green. A headboard with clipped corners and an arched top is accented with chrome nail heads. In the master bath, the flooring transitions to a Calcutta style porcelain tile with gray veining that complements the room’s Conservative Grey wall tones. A media console with a white finish anchors the lanai’s conversation area that includes a solid teal sofa. The outdoor kitchen features Silver Birch cabinetry and a Dekton counter surface.
A furnished Grenada model that is under construction is expected to be completed this fall. Created by Weber Design Group, the 4,118-square-foot, two-story Grenada plan includes a great room, dining area and kitchen, a study, master suite, and guest suite on the first floor. Two upstairs bedrooms and a game room offer an area for studying, entertaining and watching television.
The plan features four full baths and one half-bath, a three-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a covered lanai and pool. Priced at $1.895 million fully-furnished, the Grenada model also features an interior by Minka McDonald and Janine Blume. The Grenada plan is base priced at $1.475 million.
McDonald and Blume have created a family-oriented interior for the Grenada model. Their color palette is focused on natural hues with a touch of zest. Gray-toned backgrounds will be accented with sea foam and slate blue. Soft gray porcelain wood-look plank tile with hints of pewter and slate will be used for the flooring in the living areas.
In the foyer, an art piece will be hung above a driftwood finished chest with antique mirror doors. A free-floating gray writing desk will be in the center of the study accompanied by a swivel desk chair in graphite with a geometric gray fabric. Three square windows at the top of the great room’s feature wall will flood the space with natural light. The wall will be anchored by a long media console. A television will be mounted above the console and art pieces will be placed on either side.
The covered lanai will feature a driftwood stained tongue-in-groove ceiling. An outdoor bar will showcase silver birch cabinetry and a Decoran counter top. The summer kitchen will feature a textured glass backsplash in taupe and gray tones. A pool bath will be equipped with a pedestal sink and feature an 8-by-8-inch tile floor in a rustic gray and taupe finish.
The finish of a 82-inch rectangular dining table will match the graphite tone of the end tables in the great room. Six side chairs upholstered in a silver sea foam-toned mineral tweed fabric will surround the table. A 42-inch long glass chandelier will be suspended above the table. An island with a cool gray base and a quartz counter surface will provide a gathering place in the kitchen. The upstairs game room will be finished with walls in a green/blue tone with a television. Two writing desks with chairs in an aqua, sea foam and royal blue medallion fabric will serve as work stations separated by a bookcase.
McDonald and Blume have created a serene ambiance in the master bedroom with a palette featuring sea foam, slate gray and ivory tones and ivory carpeting. A king-sized bed will be upholstered with a glazed sateen woven fabric in a blue, slate and green tone. The flooring in the master bath will transition to a honed marble type porcelain tile in cream, ivory, and gray tones that will play against Mountain Air walls. Agreeable Grey cabinetry and Calcutta quartz counter tops will provide a beautiful combination for the vanities.
