26 Aug Seagate breaks ground on Cayman II at Windward Isle
Seagate Development Group LLC has started construction of a new customized Cayman II end-user residence at Windward Isle, a gated enclave of 28 single-family luxury homes being developed by Seagate south of Orange Blossom Drive on Airport-Pulling Road in North Naples.
Designed by Weber Design Group, the 2,685-square-foot single-story Cayman II floor plan features three bedrooms plus a study, three full baths, a great room, dining area, and island kitchen, a lanai with a fireplace, outdoor kitchen, a pool with a sun shelf and spa, and a two-car garage. The Cayman II is one of eight Windward Isle one and two-story open-concept designs that showcase a coastal West Indies architectural style. The new Cayman II residence reflects Seagate’s readiness to build fully customized residences designed for construction on Windward Isle’s home sites.
The Cayman II construction start continues a surge in activity at Windward Isle that reflects the appeal of its location and floor plan choices. Six closed sales and three reservations have been processed to date. Three residents have moved into their completed residences and three end-user residences are under construction. Two completed furnished models are open for viewing and purchase and a third furnished model is expected to be completed by Sept. 15. Eighteen home sites remain available.
Windward Isle offers a low density of luxury custom homes with low homeowner’s association fees. Windward Isle’s residents enjoy living close to North Naples attractions. The community is less than a mile from The Ritz-Carlton Tiburon Golf Resort; less than three miles from the dining, shopping, and entertainment venues at Mercato; and less than four miles from Waterside Shops and The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. The completed models at Windward Isle showcase Seagate’s Sea Breeze I and Abacos floor plans. The 3,074-square-foot under air Sea Breeze I floor plan by Rich Guzman at RG Designs reflects Seagate’s commitment to building luxury residences with an exceptional level of livability.
The plan includes a gallery hallway leading from the foyer to a great room, dining area and gourmet kitchen with a vaulted painted tongue-in-groove ceiling that soars to 18 feet at its peak. A single ceiling beam detail that carries through the model’s living space to the outdoor living area and windows located at the top of the walls provide additional architectural interest. Pocketing sliders fully open the interior space to a covered lanai, pool and a pavered pool deck. An optional summer kitchen and optional fireplace are included in the model’s outdoor living area. The floor plan also features a study, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths plus an optional pool bath, and a three-car garage. The master suite includes two large walk-in closets and separate water closets.
The Sea Breeze I model is priced at $1.649 million fully furnished and presents an interior by Jinx McDonald Interior Designs’ Minka McDonald, ASID, LEED, AP and Design Associate Janine Blume. The Sea Breeze I floor plan is base priced at $1.295 million.
The interior of the Sea Breeze I model conveys a sophisticated, clean-lined Hampton’s style. The coastal look presents an elegant yet casual and comfortable ambiance with a bit of a West Indies influence. A peppy color scheme featuring neutral conservative gray backgrounds with cool blues, bright and soft greens, and turquoise accents sets the tone for the home’s sophisticated yet exceptionally comfortable coastal design style. Flooring throughout the living areas is wide plank hardwood in a taupe tone. Bead-board details contribute to the comfortable coastal setting. The light-toned kitchen cabinetry is a variation of white or gray and provide a background for granite counter tops.
Designed by Weber Design Group and base priced at $1.275 million, the single-story Abacos floor plan offers elegance and livability. The open concept great room plan includes a wet bar, island kitchen, dining area, study, three bedrooms, three full baths and one half-bath, an outdoor living area, and a three-car garage.
Priced at $1.695 million with furnishings, the Abacos model also features an interior by Minka McDonald. A West Indies influence is evident on the exterior of the Abacos with a soft gray neutral background tone, dark gray corbels and Bahama shutters. Inside, McDonald’s vision for this home juxtaposes current contemporary styling with family comfort. Her color palette incorporates warm ivories, silver, light driftwood grays, and charcoal gray tones. Additional accent layers of green-blue will add color. The flooring material throughout the living areas is white porcelain tile with subtle gray striations.
Seagate’s furnished Grenada model is on schedule for completion by the middle of next month. Also created by Weber Design Group, the 4,118-square-foot, two-story Grenada open-concept floor plan includes a great room, dining area, and kitchen, a study with a walk-in closet, master suite, and guest suite on the first floor. Two upstairs bedrooms and a game room offer an area for studying, entertaining, and watching television. One bedroom has a covered outdoor balcony. The plan features four-and-one half-baths, a three-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a covered lanai and pool. The Grenada model is priced at $1.875 million fully furnished.
Jinx McDonald Interior Designs’ Minka McDonald and Janine Blume created a relaxed, family oriented interior for the new Grenada model. They have selected a color palette focused on natural hues with a touch of zest for the Grenada. Inside, gray-toned backgrounds will be accented with sea foam and slate blue. Soft gray porcelain wood-look plank tile with hints of pewter and slate will be used for the flooring in the living areas. The exterior will feature soft gray walls, blue/gray shutters, and a slate toned metal roof.
Standard features at Windward Isle include a 400-square-foot swimming pool with a brick-paver deck and tropical landscaping. With pools among the standard features, there is no community pool, fitness center, or clubhouse at Windward Isle.
